15 Marketing Automation Tools: Use Cases and Costs

Shusaku Yosa

MAツール比較15選【2026年】選び方ガイド

Marketing automation tools support messaging, nurturing and coordination using customer data. A B2B pipeline workflow differs from an app-retention program. Choose against the first workflow you need to run, not brand familiarity or an entry price alone.

Official information reviewed September 25, 2026. The 15 options include global and Japan-oriented products. Confirm service geography, language and support. Any yen-denominated examples are Japanese offers, not converted global prices. Order is not a ranking.

A free CRM is not every automation feature

A free tier does not imply unrestricted workflows, scoring, sending or sales integration. HubSpot, for example, prices around edition, seats, marketing contacts and onboarding. Storing a contact and being entitled to market to that contact are different questions.

First-year effort includes deduplication, preserving suppression status, producing content and mapping CRM fields. When ownership is missing, a larger feature list will not solve the problem. Assign someone who can maintain the initial workflow.

Use one workflow for every demo

  • Capture an inquiry and match it to the correct record.
  • Respect consent and suppression status before sending relevant follow-up.
  • Pass qualified interest to sales and return the outcome.
  • Stop inappropriate messaging after purchase, opt-out or errors.
  • Test whether another operator can understand and maintain the workflow.

Judge automation by useful customer outcomes, not message volume alone. Keep messaging responsibilities distinct from project and budget governance, as outlined in Xtrategy features, and connect each workflow to an owner and cost.
